Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The tool asks for gender, date of birth, your general health, tobacco use, the death benefit amount, and the term years. Those six pieces of information are sufficient to receive carrier rates. Personal identifying information—your name, address, and health history—is only requested should you choose to complete an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent what each carrier quotes for your chosen health classification. The carrier's final premium is set during underwriting, which might confirm, enhance or adjust your classification. These quotes are informational and are not insurance offers or guarantees of price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and the application gets created with your exact quote information, then proceeds on the carriers' security platform. You can break and resume later, and you electronically consent. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance firm (License 0B75129), processes all applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
Depends on the carrier, benefit size, and your responses. Many carriers now provide accelerated decisions for eligible candidates without requiring an exam; each quote specifies whether testing is needed, possibly needed, or not anticipated.
Is a longer term better?
Select a term that covers when dependents would suffer most from losing your income: until a mortgage is paid, until children are grown, or until a business debt ends. Longer terms mean higher monthly cost but guarantee the rate for a longer period. The tool shows you pricing for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year periods so you can decide.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoting tool doesn't request contact information, visitor data isn't marketed or distributed, and our tracking is cookieless. Review the privacy policy for the detailed roster of what information is gathered and who receives it.
